It was an honor to have been invited by OLC Accelerate to join the conversation around “new models for scholarship and partnership.” Honor’s own Jeremy Dean, VP of Learning Design, led a panel with fellow industry experts Cristi Ford (of D2L) and Brian Verdine (of Yellowdig) to explore how to transform the often transactional relationship between academia and ed-tech, using research as one of many catalysts to do so. As Jeremy aptly stated, “we need to move away from a linear model for ed-tech and collaborate more frequently and closely to identify problems together, co-design solutions, and evaluate impact.” We look forward to continuing the conversation!
